About Live Webcasting: Here's where we bite the hand that feeds us.... While we like to produce live webcasts, and we have built our company around the ability to do them, we realize that they are rarely necessary. In fact, they can be downright dangerous. Rule of thumb - you should ONLY consider a live webcast when you ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO GET YOUR MESSAGE OUT LIVE. Watch TV, especially live sports or news events. Watch remote live broadcasts. Notice the bloopers and technical glitches that happen. They do - a lot. |

They're usually pretty funny. Sometimes they are absolutely hilarious! This is because you are watching the broadcast. If you were IN the broadcast, trust me...the laughing would not begin until you are telling your grandkids about it years later. A better solution is to produce a presentation LIKE it was live, and then edit it into an on demand webcast - cutting out all of the glitches. It will look as if the presentation went off totally without a hitch, which we all know could NEVER happen. |
